What details do I need to register a Team on the Competition site?

Registration Code: This will be supplied to everyone on Training/Competition Day. You can't register until this is shared.

You will register ONCE per Team (and share login details with all Team members to compete with under a single profile on the day):

• User Name = Your TEAM name.
• Email address = one member of your Team.
• A password = shared with all members of your Team.
• State/Territory location = WA; NT; SA: QLD-Bris; QLD-Coomera; QLD-Sunshine; QLD-Toowoomba; QLD-Townsville; VIC; ACT-ANU; ACT-UniCanberra; NSW-Syd; NSW-Wollongong; TAS-Hobart; TAS-Launceston; TAS-Burnie.
• All Female Team = indicate if you are an All female and/or non-binary Team.
• Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander team member(s) = indicate if your team contains a member who identifies as this.
• Number of Team members = 2; 3; 4.
• Bracket = indicate if your Team is competing as a Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced Team.

What tools can I use to solve challenges with?

A standardised cyber toolkit will be made available for all competitors thanks to Kasm Workspaces. You are welcome to also utilise any other digital tools you have at your disposal, if that is your preference. Please compete ethically and do not seek outside assistance. See Rules page for guidelines on ethical use of digital tools, including Artificial Intelligence.

Can I win prizes?

Heck yeah!

• 1st Place: Flipper Zero + case bundle (Advanced division); Raspberry Pi 4 bundle (Beginner/Intermediate division).
• 2nd Place: Duinotech Learning kit bundle (Intermediate/Advanced division); Duinotech Starter kit bundle (Beginner division).

Note: Prize packs include one of each item per Team member.

Where can I contact organisers and competitors?

You can chat with us and other competitors on our PECAN+ CTF Server on Discord. For specific questions, you can raise a "Support" ticket on the Discord Server. Otherwise, you can use the #General channel for open discussion with the PECAN+ community. Or ask one of our friendly staff for assistance on the days.

Who am I competing against?

You and your Team will be competing with ~500+ high school students across Australia.
